News: Yikes! Almost one year hiatus.

Greetings one and all!

Wow, has it almost been one year since this has been updated? My most sincerest of apologies. This club dedicated to mostly dead girls has been, well, dare I say? Dead.

But it has been shocked back into existence. Yay zombie clubs!

Check out the club's deviations. If you like them, favorite them on the originals. We want to encourage our contributors, after all! :D And feel free to contribute some more. After all, we got some new lovely ladies like Mrs. Lovett, soon to be Alice, and perhaps a lady ragdoll-thingy from the post apocalyptic movie 9?

If anyone is interested in a new contest send a note and one shall be arranged!

This club dwells in the realm of all that is female and Burton-created, but mostly Sally and Emily (The Corpse Bride). The two are very similar in appearance and in many traits, that they are sisters! Burton sisters that is. But don't think it's just those two! Any Burton girl is a Burton Sister! :D

We mingle in fan art, fan fiction, poetry, pictures, etc. Anything ye wish! Just send a note to :icontheburtonsisters: (here) or to the President :iconsilvertallest: with whatever you want to contribute. We're welcome to anything, but if it's mature, be sure to censor the preview image and give APPROPRIATE warnings. And don't piss anyone off cause that's not cool.

As members, we have the right to choose weither or not to enter the contest or not. A lot of people have school, college, or are just generally busy with their lives. So it's not entirely fair to be disappointed in us - though I understand why you are. I've held contests before and had no one enter, so I know how it feels. But it's pretty common with contests, sadly. Anyway, if it's worth anything, I didn't enter cause I rarely enter contests. I only enter ones hosted by close friends. Hope things turn out better next time (or, if) you hold another contest! Sorry!

KristieCasey is entirely correct. Some people my choose not to enter a contest, or they may be too busy, among other things. My scanner is broekn, and even if it weren't, you try juggling school, homework, a job, and rehearsals, as well as finding time to eat and sleep. I really wanted to enter the contest, but there are other things that get in the way. SO next time take that in to consideration before you send out a journal entry as condescending as this one here.

Hey, I juggle them all too. Minus the job, but college is work enough as is. And if people really wanted, I can still keep the contest up and bump it back. But getting a lack of response from members, when we have so many who said they would participate is discouraging.
